PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK Cf� CIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY j COMMISSIONER DATE F OEUNCIL N_187964 WHEREAS, the Commissiiner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the distence ofIan emergency during the period from June lst to June 15th-1958 inco, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Handling meter reading cards received in mail on Saturdays* AND WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: In order to have readings ready for billers on Mondays: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
