RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Grading, Surfacing and Improvement of
Alleys in Block 7 Macalester Park & E. V. Kenner's Sub. bounded by Macalester
Street, Cambridge Street, Princeton Avenue & Lincoln Avenue to ARMOR -COAT FINISHING
COMPANY, ING. in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid #7176 of said Armor -Coat Finishing Company, Inc.1for the
contract price of $8,750.00 (plus Engineering $700.00 and plus Inspection .$175.00
by City Forces) such bid being the only bid and said Armor -Coat Finishing Company,
Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul.
