RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby authorized with the
consent of the Mayor and the Comptroller, to issue Purchase Order to TVLN C1TY
WHOLESALE DRUG COMPANY for 50 Vials of 9 cc. each of Poliomyelitis (Salk) Vaccine
at a cost of $197.96, without advertisement or competitive bids as an emergency
existed where failure to act promptly would work hardship to the best interests
of the City.
