RESOLVED, That the proper city officials be and they are herein authorized
and instructed to execute on behalf of the City of St. Paul an agreement with
the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company and the Chicago
and North Western Railway Company whereby the City of St. Paul is granted
permission to cross the right of way and tracks of said Railroads in connection
with the construction by the City of the so- called St. Peter Street Sewer on
an extension of the line of St. Peter Street, and whereby the Chicago, Milwaukee,
St. Paul and Pacific Railroad agrees to drive steel piling which will later be
e
encased in concrete as part of the permanent sewer construction and to construct
and remove temporary falsework spans to carry the two main tracks during the
sewer construction, for which work the Railroad Company will be compensated in
an estimated amount of $18,481.
