MIMMIigTA _ r July 21, 1958 r r .Mr. Joseph Okoneski- City Clerk Building Dear Sir: a This is in the matter of the application ofAlfbDnse Meister for a permit to remodel a filling station adjacent to the northwest corner of Ruth Street and Minnehaha Avenue.• This property is described as Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Beaver Lake Heights. The zoning is commercial. Since no addi- tional property•bas been 'acquired, .a public bearing is not necessary. , r The property under consideration has.a frontage of 86'9 "*on E. Minnehaha Avenue and 125' on Ruth Street, and.is presently occupied by a filling station. The applicants propose to expend the filling station operation by constructing another driveway'on RutbStreet to the north of the exist- ing driveway and a pump island parallel to Ruth Street. Field investigation discloses no basic objection to the proposed develop- ment and the Traffic Engineer -has approved the proposed layout and operation. The applicant's plans call for a satisfactory screen planting area on the north and west as a buffer space to separate the filling station operation from the adjacent residences. In consideration of these factors, the -Board of Zoning recommends that this permit be granted in accordance with the applicant's plans approved July 1958. HCWY FGI Encl.
