OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK CILAESOLUTIONf6E,NdERAL FORM DATE August 4, 1958 -188595 AS, The Commissioner of Public Works has reported, in accordance with Sect 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period f: July 16 to July 31, 1958 which rendered necessary the employment of certa' employees of the Department' of Public Works for more than eight hours per or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Emergency street, building, sewer & bridge repair Dispatching men for emergency repair work Dispatching motor vehicles for all emergency work Operating equipment on emergency repair work Emergency calls for sewer maintenance Removing debris from city streets Tending fire at Asphalt Plant on Sundays & holidays Emergency garbage pickup Taking care of complaints at city yards Drawing plans & specifications for grading and Memeographing grade profiles & revising house Servicing municipal equipment Making up sidewalk assessments Inspecting city improvement jobs Completing payroll work Council File No. 188595 —By Adrian P. Winkel — Resolved, That the proper city offi- cers are hereby authorized td pay certain employes in the Department of Public Works for extra' employment as described in the resolution. FORE BE IT RESOLVED That the proper city officers are hereby authorized t, pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the`provisioi of the Coun.cilts salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
