Gentlemen:
I have examined the two petitions, one in favor and the other in
opposition to the grading of an alley in Block 4. Ufton Grove Plat`1,
and wish to report as follows:
The petition in opposition to the project is signed
by the owners of 20 property descriptions.
The remaining 9 parcels are owned by Alvin and Ebba:_Jansen,
who alone are in favor of the improvement.

The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration
the preliminary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 187430 , I
approved May 13th 19 58 relative to grade and surface with bit-
