PAUL OCE OF THE CITY CLERK e COUI� RESOLUTION— GENERAL'FORM COUNCIL 188t_ 5 " FILE NO• WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from July 16, 1958 to July 31, 1958 inclusive which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following works Checking bus schedules and loadings, Supervising the activities of the City Market, Making concrete block tests, and Making emergency repairs to street lighting circuits, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circum- stances: Submission by the Street Railway Company of proposed schedule changes, Saturday work made necessary because of increased activity at the City Market, - y Fc-ertaln ile No. 18$550 —By Completion of tests requiring continuous attention, ,.
