Dear Sir:
In regard to the application of Cliff Parent
Pare Oil Company for permission to remodel the filling
station located on the southwest corner of North Dale
Street and Iarpenteur Avenue.
Mr. Parent wishes to install one island, two
pumps, two additional 2,000 gallon underground gasoline
storage tanks at the above location.
We have investigated the foregoing and report
that this installation will be made in accordance with
the rules and regulations of the National Board of Fire
Underwriters and the St. Paul Fire Prevention Code.
We, therefore, recommend that this license
be granted.

Dear Sir; .
This is in the matter of the application of Clifford J. Parent for a
permit to remodel an existing filling station,located adjacent to the
southwest corner of Dale and Larpentuer Avenue. This property is de-
scribed as Lots 1, 2, 3, 28,•29, and 30; Block 1; Lane's North Dale
Park Addition. This property has been zoned .commercial since 1926.
No public ,hearing is required as no additional property has been
acquired since the original filling station permit was granted in
November 1945.
The property is presently occupied by a filling station. The applicant
proposes to extend this filling station operation by constructing
another driveway and pump island along Dale Street.
Field investigation discloses no objection to this change from the
standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic. The applicant's plans
are in accordance with existing filling station standards and have
been approved by the Traffic Engineer as to- operation and layout. In
consideration of these factors, the Board of Zoning recommends that
this permit be granted subjedt_to the plan approved July 10, 1958.
