RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Department of public Works, Bureau of Bridges, North end High Bridge,
St. Paul, Minnesota, 2790 pcs. 3t1 x 10j1 - 18' #1 Fir S4S (125550 ft.), to
SHAW LUMBER COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid #7131 of said Shaw Lumber Company for the contract
price of $14,187.15, such bid being the lowest and said Shaw Lumber Company being
a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of Saint Paul.
