WHEREAS, The City Council, as provided by law, has authorized
the Department of Parks, Playgrounds And Public Buildings to
enter upon the premises known and described as 740, -742 Rondo
Avenue in the City of Saint Paul, and to-tear down and remove
the building thereon as being unsafe and dangerous to life,
limb, and adjoining property, and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to such Council action, bids for the tear-
ing- down,and removal of said building were duly advertised for}
k in accordance with the provisions of the City Charter, and the i
lowest bid was in the sum of $450.00 and the expenses of the
Department of Parks, Playgrounds And Public Buildings in con -
.r1r , nect'ion with condemnation proceedings 'and writing specifica-
tions amounted to $38.45, making a total of $488.45, and
J., WHEREAS, There are no funds now appropriated in the Building
Wrecking Emergency Fund for the wrecking and removal of said
' building, be it
RESOLVED, That said sum be paid out of the Wrecking Condemned
Buildings Account of the General Fund 31 -G -23 and that, in ;
the.event said sum proves to be collectible -from the owner of I
.the premises, same is to be credited to the General Fund Item '
31 -G -23.
