Examples of work performed: To make radiographs of chests, laterals, hips and knees. To make planigrams. To make special x -rays as requested by the chest clinic physician. To arrange patients for photographs. To load film holders and screen cassettes. To develop, wash, and file x -ray films. To prepare developing solutions. To assist in taking inventory, keep records, and make reports. To check equipment for loose connections, screens for contact, and otl level in transformers. To make minor adjustments. Minimum qualifications: High school graduation and one year of training in an approved hospital x-ray training course, or high school graduation and two years' experience in the operation of medical x -ray apparatus in a hospital or x -ray laboratory under the supervision of a roentgenologist. -2- ti 1877 5 0 Title of class: SENIOR X -RAY TECHNICIAN /j� 7C Duties and responsibilities: Under supervision, to be in charge of taking, developing, and printing of x-ray photographs; and to perform related work as assigned.
