RESOLVED, that Hazel Park Congregational Church be permitted
to install and' - .operate a private parking lot on Lots 1, 2, 3 and
4, Block 7, Aurora Addition, located at the southwest corner of
Reaney and Van Dyke, in accordance with plans approved May 1,
1958 and subject to compliance with the provisions of all ordi-
nances governing the operation of parking lots, and subject to the
further condition that sidewalks abutting said premises be kept
clean and free of ice and snow at all times.

Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of the hazel Park Con-
gregational Church for a permit to install and operate a private
parking lot on property located adjacent to the southwest corner
of Reaney and Van Dyke Avenue. This property is described as
lots 1, 2, 3,, and 4; Block 7; Aurora Addition. This property is
zoned "A'' Residence.
Applicants propose to install a private parking lot north of the
-present church. The parking area has a frontage of 131 feet on
,Reaney and 60 feet on Van Dyke. The adjacent land uses are resi-
dential, one and -two family.
The plans meet existing standards and have been approved by the -
Traffic Engineer. Field Investigation discloses no basic objection
from the standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic.
In consideration of these factors, the Board of Zoning recommends
that this permit be granted in accorance with plans Approved
May 1, 1958 and subject to the granting of Council approval of a'
waiver of the building line on.Reaney from 8' to 2' for parking "
purposes.
