FILE - "1"7 3 0 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from May 16th to May 31st 1958 inc:, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: �lj Working extra shifts at various stations. 2 Finishing installation of, and repairing water mains, hydrants., and service connections. 3 Taking emergency calls at Storeyard. 4 Making repairs to Snelling reservoir. 5 Repairing electric equipment at Highland and Hazel Park Stations: 6 Driving country crew to and from work.
