In the matter of grading Euclid Ste from Kennard St. to Germain Ste;
Wilson Ave. from Kennard Ste to Euclid St.; Germain St. from Wilson Ave. to
Third St. and Kennard St.from Old Hudson Road to Wilson Ave. under Preliminary
Order 185906 approved January 23, 1958 and Final Order 187278 approved May 6,
1958, and in the matter of constructing a sewer on Wilson Avenue from Euclid
Street to Kennard Street and a sewer on Euclid Street from Germain Street to
Kennard Street, under Preliminary Order 186042 approved February 4, 1958
and Final Order 187280 approved May 6, 1958.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications as submitted for the above
improvements, be and the same are hereby approved and the Commissioner of Public
Works be and he is hereby directed to place the gravel and oiling by City Forces
at an estimated cost of $12031.002 and the Purchasing Agent proceed to secure
the necdssary materials, and be it
FURTHER RESOIVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed
to obtain bids for the improvement, the bids to show separately the amount for
the grading work(except the work to be done by City Forces) and the amount for
the sewer work as per plans and specifications and the total thereof to be considered
as bids for the entire improvement, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the cost of the above improvement, including engineering
and inspection expenses amounting to $1711.00, or a total of $14,015.00, plus the
cost of grading and sewer, be assessed against the benefitted property.
