Resolution of -Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses
constructing new mercury vapor ornamental lights on Selby Avenue from Fry_Street
to Saratoga Street and on Snelling Avenue from Hague Avenue to Marshall Avenue,
including the construction of new or the reconstruction of old cables, conduits,
pull boxes and other appurtenances, where necessary
under Preliminary Order 177912 , approved Ma.y 17, 1956
Intermediary Order 178996 , approved July 31, 1956
Final Order 179361 , approved August 28, 1956

the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.

RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 13th
day of August 19_5, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
