Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of Melvin and Sam Spiegler for a permit'-
to establish a twenty -seven car private parking lot on the property adjacent to
the north side of East Seventh Street between Birmingham and Hazelwood Avenues.
This property is described as the south 180' of Lot 20; Block 2; Cruickshank's Garden
Lots except the easterly 50' thereof. This property is zoned Commercial and "A"
Residence.
The property under consideration has a frontage of 150' on East Seventh Street and
extends northerly to a depth of 180'. The plans filed are in accordance with ex-
isting standards for this type of facility. The proposed parking area has been.
approved by the traffic engineer as to layout and operation.
Access to this property•is from one driveway on East Seventh Street. The property
will be suitably fenced and landscaped.
In consideration of these factors, the Zoning Board recommends that this permit
be granted in accordance with the applicant's plans approved June 19, 1958, sub-
ject to the Council granting the'applicant an appeal to use all of this property
for apartment purposes.
Sincerely yours,
