RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
"therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department, Hamline & Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota, 20,000 Feet of 3/411
Type K Soft Seamless Copper Tubing in 60' lengths, to CRANE COMPANY OF MINNESOTA
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #7181 of said Crane Company of Minnesota at a contract of $7,270.00, such bid
being one of identical bids and said Crane Company of Minnesota being a reliable
and reasonable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to
draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby
are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
