FILE W>REAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from July 1st to July 15th 1958 ineo, which rendered necessary themployment of ,certain employees of the Water Department for more thah eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: (lj Warning sprinkling ban violatgors, (2 Handling meter reading cards received in mail on Saturday: AND WHMMAS., this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: (1) Necessary to see that consumers did not sprinkle after hours, due to critical water situation, (2) In order to have readings ready for billers on Monday: TEEMIOREi.
