Dear Sir:
We understand that-the Department of Public Works is
making a preliminary survey in regard to installation of side-
walks along Kenneth Avenue between Ford Road and Highland
Parkway.
The undersigned, as property owners occupying homes on
lots immediately - adjacent to Kenneth Avenue in the two block
area mentioned wish to register our vigorous disapproval of
this action. The installation of sidewalks in said area,
would in our opinion, be an unjustified expense.
We respectfully request
this project be dropped.

Dear Sir:
The safety committee of the Horace Mann P. T. A.
requests a sidewalk be installed on Kenneth St. from Highland
Parkway to Ford Road.
The school police, composed of fifth and sixth grade
children, conducts lines four times a day over the above route. -
They must use the streets during the rainy and snowy seasons.
We feel•this is necessary for the safety of our
children and would apzreciate a sincere and early consideration
of our request. Thank you.
Sincer ?ly,
Mrs. Clarence Holtz., chairman.
