RESOLVED, that the proper City officials be, and they are
hereby authorized and instructed to execute on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul, a proposed agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department
of Highways, covering apportionment between the Department of Highways
and the City of Saint Paul for the cost of furnishing and installing
a new traffic control signal at the intersection of Trunk Highway
No. 12 and McKnight Road in the City of Saint Paul, and providing
for reimbursement to the Department of Highways, State of Minnesota,
for the 50% share of expenses not to exceed $4,000 of the total cost
of 58,000, same one -half cost to be borne by the City of Saint Paul
and paid out of PIR Fund Code 3001, same fund to be reimbursed from
Street Bond Fund Code 200- ST -15; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that if the bids received by the State
exceed $8,000, the contract shall not be awarded by the State without
prior approval by the Council of the City of Saint Paul; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Council File No. 188142, approved
July 12 1958, is hereby repealed.
