188249WHEREAS, an accident occurred on the 4th of May, 1958, at the intersection of Lexington Parkway and Summit Avenue in the City of Saint Paul in which a car owned and driven by John C. Biagini, 950 Clark Street, struck and damaged a street light post and traffic signal on the southeast corner of the aforesaid intersection; and WHEREAS, the departments involved have issued two bills covering the cost of repairs to said street light post and traffic signal, namely Registered Bill No. 2 -3753 in the amount of $146.94 and Registered Bill No. 3 -2854 in the amount of $13 .46; and WHEREAS, it now appears that the responsibility for this accident is obscure and further, that it would be to the mutual benefit and advantage of all parties concerned that a compromise settlement be made; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are authorized and directed to accept $200.00 from John C. Biagini in full payment and satisfaction of-the aforementioned Registered Bills and to execute a release on the part of the City to the benefit of Mr. Biagini and to cancel the remainder of Registered Bills No. 2 -3751 and No. 3 -2854.
