WHEREAS, under date of June 24, 1958 the City of St. Paul
and the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company entered into an
agreement whereby the Railway Company will remove and reconstruct
its spur tracks on the newly acquired right -of -way for Randolph
Avenue between Duke Street and Erie Street northerly from the
junction with Shepard Road so as to permit the pavement and im-
provement of Randolph Avenue on its new location, therefore be
it
RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Public Works be and he
is herein authorized and instructed to make application to the
Minnesota Railroad and Warehouse Commission for approval of a
grade crossing on the proposed new line of Randolph Avenue and
the spur tracks to be reconstructed, such spur tracks now
serving industries in the old Railway Shop area and vicinity,
in accordance with the plan attached to the agreement and
designated as Exhibit A.
