Whereas, The Joint City and County' FILE —
Detention and Workhouse Commission
of the City of Saint Paul and County of
Ramsey heretofore, at its meeting on
the 17th day of November, 1959 au-
thorized the award of material and
supplies contract to the McCarthy Well
Company for furnishing the pump and
accessory equipment at the new Work-
house Facility for an amount of $9,495;
now, therefore, be it

WHEREAS, the Joint City and County Detention and
Workhouse Commission of the City of Saint Paul and County of
Ramsey heretofore, at its meeting on the 17th day of November,
1959, authorized the award of material and supplies contract to
the McCarthy Well Company for furnishing the pump and accessory
equipment at the new Workhouse Facility for an amount of
$9,`495; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby concurs in said action by the Detention and Workhouse
Commission and hereby authorizes and directs the proper City
officials to execute an agreement between the Commission and
the said McCarthy Well Company on behalf of said Commission and
the City.
