W HF,RGAS, the City of Saint Paul submitted an application to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for
fundins of the clean-up at the site to be developed into the Bruce V ento Interpretive Center; and
WHERF,AS. in 7une of 2009 the Ciry of Saint Paul was notified that a clean-up grant of $200,000 had been approved by the
IipA for the clean-up of hazardous materials at the loca[ion with [he 1.85 acre Bruce Vento Interpretive Center; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Parks and Recreation to set up a financing and spending plan for the EPA grant; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section l0.OZ1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available
for appropriation, funds of $200,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2008 Capital Improvement Budget and
NOW THERL-PURE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Counci] of the Ciry of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and
the positive advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $200,000 is available for appropriation in
[he 2008 Capital Improvement Budget, and said 2008 budget, as heretofore adopted by the Cooncil, is here by further amended
as follows:
