PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK C�O�U,NC IL RESOLUTION— GENERAL FORM COUNCIL NO Council File No. 192588 — By KUton Rosen — Resolved, That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay certain employes in the Water Department for extra employment as described in the resolution. Adopted by the Council June 2, 1959. Approved June 2, 1959. (June B, 1959) WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from May 16th to May 31st 1959 ince, which' rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: j1j Repairing Filtration Plant equipment. 2 Working extra shifts at various stations. 3 Realigning and testing new pump and motor at Mississippi River Station and repairing pump control at SteAnthony Station. Taxing emergency calla at Storeyard* 5 Finishing installation of, and repairing water mains & service connections & chlorinating new 30" Highland main. (6 M Driving country crew to and from work locations.
