In the matter of..........
opening, widening and extending an alley to a width of 20 ft. from
the south line of Block 1, M. M. Gasser's Addition, to the north
line of- Cottage=St. by taking and condemning that part of Lot 2,
SubdiVl.sion of -the East 2 of the S14 of Section 20, Township 29,
Range 22, according to a map filed with Decree of Partition and
recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County,
Minnesota, in Book "Y" of Deeds 343 -349, the center line of which
is described as follows: Beginning at a point on the south line
of Block 1, M. M. Gasser's Addition and in the center of the alley
as platted; thence south to a point on the north property line of
Cottage St. and equidistant between the east property line of DeSoto
St. and the west property line of Burr St.

The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount of
damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above improvement
and toy whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property from the making
of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a confirma-
tion of the awards of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said assessment of
benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the Cit , of St. Paul on the----- - - - - -_ lst
