PAUL FFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUOOIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM V� M ♦TC .9:)56; "6 COUNCIL NO _FI1 F _- Council File No. 192506 —By Milton Rosen — Whereas, The City of Saint Paul is acquiring necessary additional ease- ments in properties in Anoka County for the improvement and extension of the Waterworks System for the supply of water serving the City of Saint Paul; wHER kS, The City of Saint Paul is acquiring necessary additional easements in properties in Anoka County for the improvement and extension of the Waterworks System for the supply of Water serving the City of Saint Paul; and wHmmS', An independent appraiser has been appointed by the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul, with the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, Said appraiser has negotiated with the fee owner or owners thereof for the purchase of 'an easement for waterworks purposes in two certain tracts of land designated as Tracts 3D and 3F which are located in the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter (SE� of the SW-41) of Section 1 in Tlmwhip 3) North of Range 24 West, at a maw price of approximately $625.00; and WHEREAS, The Board of water Commissioners at its meeting held 27 May 1959 approved said purchase as being practical and 6xpedient. and approved the acquisition of said easements in said property for the benefit and use of the Water Department of the City of Saint Paul and for the consideration above set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESCLVED, That the Co ipcil of the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve and ratify said action of said Board of Water Commissioners, said consideration to be paid out of Water Fund. 23-B. A sixtr4oat strip or parcel of land extending across the south sixty feet of the soethwnst quarter of Section 1, Township 30 North, Range 24 presto which lies izoediately north of the 66 -foot public highway and wherein a perpetual saseaent was condemned and taken by said Board pursuant to proceedings in condennati,on the records whereof are filed in Docket 8475 in the office of the Clark of Court, at Anoka, Minnesota, cartaining about 5,236 square feet or 12/100 acres of land, sore or less, of which about 585 square feet or 1/100 acres of lend, more or less, lie in the easterly 50 feet thereof and subject to the public right in said Central Avenue. The intent herein is, that said Auditors Subdivision No. 124 shall be interpreted according to the plat of sage on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said County of Anoka. BE IT Ftiili'i RESOLVED, That the honorable City Council be requested to approve and confirm this action of the Board of Water Cc®issioners and to authorize and direct payment of ;62540 to the owner or owners thereof upon their delivering to the Board the deed of eassment afore- said with respect to said Tracts 3D and 3F, said sum to be paid out of the Water Fund 23B.
