Honorable Mayor and
Members of the City Council
Gentlemen and Madame:
199462
The property described as Lots 1 to 15, Block 12, Ridgewood
Park Add. to the City of St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota,
being tax- forfeited, was acquired by the City in 1946 for a Veterans
Housing Site and later to be used for playground purposes.
The Veterans Housing has been discontinued and due to changes
now being made because of the highway to be constructed along
the front of the property and the cutting off a small portion on
the west end;. it no longer is desirable for playground use. There-
fore, the property should be conveyed back to the State of Minnesota,
in trust.
Yours very truly,
Bernard T. Holland,
Commissioner
