Re: State Project 6280 -3 (Trunk Highway 35=390) Ramsey County, State of
Minnesota, City of St. Paul _
WHEREAS, By Resolution Council File No. 1887+8, approved August 14, 1958,
the City Council approved the plans and specifications for the construction of
the foregoing Minnesota Highway Department project, being the construction of
Trunk Highway 35=390 from Sherwood Avenue to the north city limits, and
W1�REAS, It appears that an outer connection to the right frontage road
north,of Arlington Avenue at Station 132+00 is too close to the Wheelock Parkway
Ramp "C" to permit adequate advance signing, and
WHEREAS, The aforesaid outer connection carries a relatively light volume
of traffic and can be eliminated in favor of the use of Wheelock Parkway Ramp "C"
without inconvenience to users; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the recommendation of the Minnesota Highway Department ,that
the aforesaid outer connection be removed and that the right frontage road be re-
aligned to better serve the future development of a residential district, be
approved.
