Dear Sirs and Madams
The- Technical.Cocmaittee.has consid''ered the matter of acquisition by the city
for public purposes gf'the property bounded by,Markett Washington# Sixth and
Seventh Streetsp for®erly used asla bus depot.. -
The comOittee-is informed that united Properties propose to- acquire this

the city will'proceed to- remove the building now occupying, the premises and ,
develop -the area as,a municipal, wall or park- center.in such, manner as will
best'serve the public•interest. This action`on ths'part of United Properties
is designed -to establish a .memorial on' behalf of William Haim
ap Senior, this .
being, the -100th anniversary of his birth. -In its present condition this
,property is unsightly and definitely injuriou`s'to th'i best interests of the-
