The Saint Paul Fire Depar[ment Training Division uses the walkways at the Coliseum on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds for h
purposes for the new firefighters. The agreement Gme period is November 9, 2009 through February 5, 2010.
Advantages If Approved:
The Saint Paul Fire Department will be able to use the walkways at the Coliseum for training purposes during the cold winter months.
Disadvantages If Approved:
None.
Disadvantages If NotApproved:
The Saint Paul Fire Deparhnent will not be be able to use the Coliseum walkways for training purposes.

BY THIS AGREEMENT, the Minnesota State Fair authorizes St. Paul Fire Department (User) use
of a portion of the walkways in the Warner Coliseum on the fairgrounds. The purpose of this
usage shall be for training on weekdays (approximately 2:30 —4:00 p.m.) during the following
dates:
November 9, 2009 — February 5, 2070
Remuneration: $25 due and payable upon signing of this agreement
Special Conditions: Warner Coliseum will be closed on the following dates; 11/26, 12/24, 12/25,
12/31, 1/1. User is advised to contact the Warner Coliseum staff on a weekly basis at (651) 642-
2204 to confirm availability Participants under this agreement will be required to sign in at the
Warner Coliseum o�ce upon arrival.
User will be responsible for any and all costs incurred by the Minnesota State Fair as a result of
this usage, including but not limited to all property loss or damage to State Fair property caused
directly or indirectly by User, its contractors, agents, guests, employees, participants or
attendees.
By signing this agreement, User shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the State of
Minnesota, Political subdivisions of the State (Minnesota State Fair, Minnesota State Agricultural
Society) and their officials, employees and agents with respect to any claims, demands, actions,
damages, costs and expenses resulting from any error, omission, tort or other negligent act, error
or omission of the User, its officials, employees, agents, subcontractors or sub-subcontractors at
any level However, the USER shall not be responsible for the negligent acts, errors or omissions
of the State of Minnesota, Political Subdivisions of the State, or their officials, employees or
agents.
