RESOLVED, that an extra in the amount of $67.00 be allowed
under Contract No. 1810, between the City of Saint Paul and the
McCarthy Well Company, said contract for Installation of a Sub-
mersible water pump in Como Park, Saint Paul, Minnesota, and
said extra to cover the difference between the following:
Installation of draw -down equipment, low water
cut off equipment and flow switch for protective
control of pump- Add $267.00
Use of 8" steel pipe for the discharge pipe line
supports in place of concrete piers Deduct $200.00
This work was requested by the Commissioner of
And Public Buildings, and agreement made with
a memorandum of said agreement filed with the
countersigned by him.

Contract Number 1810 was awarded McCarthy Well Company for
the Installation of a.Submer�ible,.Water Pump in Como Park.
Certain changes were found to be desirable and at your
request negotiations have been conducted with the contrac-
tor who agrees to make the following changes for the amounts
listed:
For the installation of draw -down equipment,
low water cut off equipment, and flow switch
for protective control of the pump - Add $267.00
For use of 8" steel pipe for the discharge
pipe line supports Deduct 200.00
Total Extra $67.00
This is a reasonable amount for the labor and material involv-
ed, and it is therefore requested that a resolution be sub-
mitted to the Council authorizing an extra in the amount of
$67.00.
