In the matter of regarding, curbing and paving Jackson Street from
Maryland Avenue to Arlington Avenue; grading and paving street, alley and
driveway returns; constructing sewer, water and gas service connections
from street mains to property lines where necessary; constructing drainage
facilities and doing all other work necessary and incidental to complete
said improvement, under Preliminary Order C. F. 190533, approved January 7,
1959, and Final Order C. F. 192661, approved June 9, 1959.
Also constructing sewers on Jackson Street from Maryland Avenue to
Hawthorne Avenue and from the existing sewer about 190 feet south of the
center line of Arlington Avenue to a point approximately 1250 feet south
of said center line of Arlington Avenue, under Preliminary Order C. F.
190849, approved February 3, 1959, and Final Order C. F. 192660, approved
June 9, 1959.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications, as submitted by the
Commissioner of Public Works, for the above improvements be and the same
are hereby approved and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed
to advertise for bid on these improvements.
