SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA ra-
1 WHEREAS, the Parks and RecreatiQn Department periodically receives unsolicited contribufions
2 of money andJ or goods from members of the public for vazious recreation programs; and
4 WHEREAS, to promote efficiency the Department wishes to properly accept and recognize such
5 donations in amounts under $250 on a quarterly basis rather than individually; and
7 WHEREAS, such donations aze directed to the funds indicated by the donor or to general reereation
8 activities when no instructions are given; now, therefore, be it

10 RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby authorizes the Department of Parks
ll and Recrearion to accept donations of money andlor goods in amounts under $25Q, and to appropriate said
12 donation to the uses directed or to general recreational needs.

14 FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Department of Parks and Recreation shall keep accurate accounts
15 of such donations and shall quarterly report such donations to the City Councii for recognition of, and
16 thanks to, the donors.
