WHEREAS, on-the-,10th day of February 1959, an accident
occurred on Charles Avenue at its intersection with Cedar
Street in the City of Saint Paul, said accident involving a
vehicle owned by the City of Saint Paul and driven by Gustave E.
Brissman and a vehicle owned and driven by John Lichtscheidl,
resulting in damage to both vehicles; and
WHEREAS, Registered Bill No. 3 -2956 was issued covering
damage to the City vehicle and the responsibility for -the
accident isebubtful and uncertain and the parties are desirous
of effecting a mutually agreeable settlement of the matter; now,
therefore be it
RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 418.11, Minnesota Statutes
1941, and upon delivery to the Corporation Counsel of a release
approved by,him, John Lichtscheidl be paid $90.00 out of the
Judgment and Compromise Fund in full payment of damages sustained
in an accident-,on February 10, 1959 with Gustave E. Brissma.n,
an employee of the'Department of Public Safety, while in the
performance, of his official duties; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That Registered Bill No. 3 -2956 be and
the same is he eby directed to be dancelled.
