RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Construction of New Ornamental Lighting
System on Pascal Street from St. Anthony Avenue to University Avenue to COLLINS
ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7738 of said Collins Electrical
Construction Company for the contract pric -e,- $8,950.00 (plus Engineering &
Inspection $300.00 by City Forces) such bid being the lowest and said Collins
Electrical Construction Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of con-
tract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
