1930121 9f}()12 COUNCIL NOS FILE J • e WHEREAS, in the matter of the Repairing and Redecking of the HIGH BRIDGE; more particularly described as Comptroller's Contract L »59661 Whiting - Turner Contracting Company, Con- tractor, the specified completion date is JULY 11 1959, and - WHEREAS, the Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently, save and except for the Painting work, which has been delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions with the result that it will not be possible to complete this work by said completion date, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers be and they are her -eby authorized and directed to execute an amendment to•said Con- tract extending the time of completion to AUGUST 15, 1959P provided however, that this Resolution shall have no force or effect unless the Sureties on the Contractor's Bond consent thereto' and file such consent in writing with the City Coiup- troller, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of St. Paul hereby waives all claims for liquidated`damages and for Engineering and Inspection Costs on this Project on account of such extended period.
