by the following described lines: The present north and northeasterly�Tinewgf..,;,
Kellogg Boulevard, the west line of the said Lot 8 and a line twenty -four (241 feet
distant froln and parallel to the aforesaid northeasterly line of Kellogg Boulevard
to the point of its intersection with the south line of the said Lot 9, Block 54,
Rice and Irvine's Addition,
under Preliminary Order 193570 approved August 12, 1959
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to open, widen and
extend Kellogg Boulevard by condemning and taking those parts of Lots 8 and 9, Block 54.
}'lice and Irvine's Addition, bounded by the following described lines: The present north
and northeasterly lines of Kellogg Boulevard, the west line of the said Lot 8 and a line
twenty -four (24) feet distant from and parallel to the aforesaid'northeasterly line of
Kellogg Boulevard to the point of its intersection with the south line of the said Lot 9,
Block 54, Rice and Irvine's Addition,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ -20,000-00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 6th day of
October , 1959, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
