Resolved, That action of the Council
heretofore taken with reference to the
City's health and welfare program, as
expressed in Council File No. 1$8357,

RESOLVED, That action of the Council heretofore
taken with reference to the City's health and welfare program,
as expressed in Council File No. 186357, is hereby modified
in the following respects and particulars by striking there-
from Paragraph 3, which reads:
03. For employes whose employment contemplates
an absence from City or Board payrolls during the
summer months, during which periods the employes do
no work for the City or the Board of Education, such
absences shall be disregarded in computing the six
consecutive calendar months necessary for City contri-
butions, that is, the period of such absences shall not
be considered as an interruption or,break in the six
consecutive calendar months."
and substituting in lieu thereof the following provision which
shall be hereafter effective:
03. For employes, including teachers; whose-employ-
ment contemplates an absence from City or Board payrolls
during the summer months, during which periods the I
employes Flo no work for the City or the Board of Educa-
tion, such absences shall be disregarded in computing
the six consecutive calendar months necessary to obtain
City contributions, that is, the period of such absences
shall not be considered as an interruption or break in
the six consecutive calendar months, nor shall such ab-
sences during such °summer periods be counted toward compila-
tion of such' requisite six consecutive calendar months
for eligibility for City contributions."
