Resolved, By the Council of the City
of Saint Paul that said Council's prior
Resolution bearing Council File No.
193755, approved August 27, 1959, shall
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul that
said Council's prior Resolution bearing Council File No. 193755,
approved August 27, 1959, shall be and said prior Resolution
hereby is amended in the following particulars, :to -wit:
That the provision reading as follows: "that said bonds
shall bear date the first day of the month in which the
same are sold;" contained in the second paragraph-of
said prior Resolution hereby is amended to read as
follows: "that said bonds shall be dated the first day
of September,1959 ;"
That the provision contained in the third paragraph of
said prior Resolution reading as follows: "that each
bidder shall be required to accompany his bid by a
certified or cashier's check for two (2) per cent of
the amount of the bonds bid for, which shall be
forfeited to the City as liquidated damages if the
bonds are not taken and paid for when ready for delivery;"
hereby is amended to read 4s follows: "that each bidder
shall be required to accom any his bId by a'certified or
cashierts check for two (2 per cent of the amount of the
bonds bid for, which shall-be forfeited to the City as
liquidated damages if the bonds are not taken up and paid
for when ready for delivery;"
That the provision contained in the fourth paragraph 4Pf
said prior Resolution reading as follows: "and shall be
in the following form" hereby is amended to read as
follows: "and shall be in substantially the following
form"
That the provision contained in the Form of Bond set
forth in said fourth paragraph of said prior Resolution
reading as follows:
It the City of Saint Paul in the County
of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, acknowledges itself to owe
and for value received hereby promises to pay to bearer the sum
of One Thousand Dollars (1,000.00) on the first day of

immediately following the language therein contained

That the following language set forth in said Form of Bond in
said fourth paragraph of said prior Resolution reading as
follows: "and Chapter 475, Minnesota Statutes 1953, as amended.
hereby is.amended to read as follows: "and Chapter 475, Minneso
Statutes 1957, as amended."
That immediately following the language• "this first day of
. .. . ." at the end of the body of said
Form of Bond contained in said fourth paragraph of said
prior Resolution, hereby is amended to read as follows:

That the language contained in the Form of Coupon set forth in
said fourth paragraph of said prior Resolution "Water Works
Bond, Series 1959 A, dated ......................" hereby is
amended to read as follows: "Water Works Bond, Series 1959 A,
dated September 1, 1959" . .
