WHEREAS, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to request SCORE state
recycling grant funds from Ramsey County in the amount of ��98-�in 2010 for support of the citywide
curbside and multi-family recycling collection programs conducted under contract with Eureka Recyding;

6 WHEREAS, that in order to continue service in 2010 for weekly two-stream curbside collection of
7 recyclables, the City Recycling Service Fee in 2010 shall be set at $31.84 per unit in residential buildings
8 with one to three units including condominiums; and Q'� unit in residential buildings with four or
9 mare units, for support of the citywide curbside and multi-family/city buildings recycling collection
10 programs conducted under contract with Eureka Recycling; so
11 * $19.68
12 THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED, that the request o�S�ORE grant funds from Ramsey County and
13 setting the recycling service fees for 2010 will allow the City to continue the curbside collection of
14 recyclables program currently under contract with Eureka Recycling through 2010.

The Join[ Powers Agreement between the City and Ramsey County allows the County to collect recycling service fees on behalf of the
City. The Counry also accepts SCORE grant funds from the State on behalf of the City
