RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing a minimum of four Tow Trucks,
including operators, when called upon by the Department of Public Works for the
purpose of removing cars from the streets during the 1959 -60 snow removal
operations, to BISHOP- TaHNG SERVICE in accordance with City specifications and
the Formal Bid #7814 of said Bishop Towing Service at the rate of $8.00 per.hour,
including operating expense, fuel, adequate insurance and repairs, such bid being
the only bid And said Bishop Towing Service being a reliable and reasonable bidder,
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form
of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the Cit of Saint Paul.
