Resolved, That the Council hereby
approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards
contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Water Department, St. Paul,
Minnesota, approximately 950 lineal
feet of 24" Prestressed Concrete Cylin-
der Pipe, and fittings (Class 200) with
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and deliver-
ing to the Water Department, St. Paul, Minnesota, approximately 950 lineal
feet of 2411 Prestressed Concrete Cylinder pipe and fittings (Class 200)
with rubber and steel joints and appurtenances to LOCK JOINT PIPE COMPANY in
accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and
the Formal Bid #7622 of said Lock Joint Pipe Company for the contract price
of approximately $13,689.50 (Board of Water Commissioners reserving the right
to increase the Materials of the Contract by an amount not to exceed twenty
per centum of the quantity indicated for that item) such bid being the only
bid for Concrete Pipe and Lock Joint pipe Company being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to
draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul,
