z RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF NEIGHBORHOOD
� STAR YEAR-ROUND LOAN PROGRAM FUNDS IN WARD 7
s WHEREAS, on July 15, 2009 the Neighborhood STAR Board reviewed the proposai for new
6 water service for the Children's Garden located at Third and Maria Streets; and,
a WHEREAS, on August 12, 2009 via Resolution #09-859 the Saint Paul City Council provided up
9 to $5,000 in grant dollars from the Neighborhood STAR Year-Round Loan Program allocation
io and,

�z WHEREAS, because this proposal is of substantial community significance, a waiver of the
ts STAR Guidelines in regards to the $1 for $1 matching fund requirement is recommended; now,
�a therefore be it

i6 RESOLVED, that upon recommendation of the Mayor, the City Council does hereby allow the
t� project to move forward with this waiver to the Neighborhood STAR Guidelines.
