WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L -54002
for the construction and repair of Sidewalks in District
Number two (2) for the year of 195., the date specified
for completion is August 1p 1955, and
WHEREAS, Pederson Brothers Companys the Contractor has
prosecuted the work diligently, but due to delay caused
by conditions beyond his control, it was not possible for
him to complete all of his work by and within the time
specified ;.'now therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers be and they are
hereby authorised and directed to execute an Amendment
to sQLid t extending the time for completion to
JUNE 15, 1957 provided however that this Resolution
shal�l,hav force or effect, unless the sureties on
the ctor's Bond consent ther6to and file such con-
sent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of
claim for liquidated damages and
inspection costs on this Project

Whereas, In the matter of Comp-

struction and repair of Sidewalks in
District Numn er two (2) for the year
of 1954, the date specified for com-
pletion is August 1, 1955, and
Whereas, Pederson Brothers Com-
pany, the Contractor has prosecuted
,the work diligently, but due to delay
caused by conditions beyond his con-
trol, it was not possible foi him to
complete all of his work by and within
the time specified, now therefore be it
Resolved, That the proper City Offi-
cers be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to execute an Amendment
to said Contract extending the time
for completion to JUNE 15, 1957, pro-
vided however that this Resolution
shall have no force or effect, unless
the sureties on the Contractor's Bond
consent thereto and file such consent
in writing with the City Comptroller,
and be it
Further Resolved, That the City of
St. Paul waives all claim for liquidated
damages and that no engineering and
inspection costs on this Project will
be charged by the City on account
of such extended period.
