PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM COUNCIL 1916 FILE NO. ,TF April 6, 1959 WfEMS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of-an emergency during the period from March 1st through April 4th, 1959 which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries- ,Auditorium, Museums and Stadia, Bureau of Auditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work :, Operate switchboard, ventilating systems, also to supervise during conventions, hockey tournament, shrine circus, basketball, boxing and other events held in the building. and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: No other trained help available to work during various activities held in the building. This time includes Satrudays, Sundays and holidays. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
