Whereas, The City of Saint Paul is

WH RFAS, the City of Saint Paul is acquiring necessary additional easements in properties
in Anoka County for the improvement and'expansion of the Waterworks 'System for the supply
of water serving the City of Saint Paul; and
WBEFMS, an independent appraiser has been appointed by the Board of Water Commissioners
of the City of Saint Paul, with the approval of the City Council; and
JUME .9 said appraiser has negotiated for the purchase of easements for waterworks
purposes in two parcels of land located in the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter
(SF.1 of the 89Pj) of Section 1p Township 30 North of Range 24 West, from the fee ovmers,,
namely George Quinehan and Phie Quinehan, at a m x1mum price of approximately $409st9 --- 92 4-p
and Albert E. Xille and Bernice H. Wille, at a ma neim price of approximately 099; ft,o fl
and
70MUAS, the Board of Water Commissioners at its meeting -held 19 February, approved said
purchases as being practical and expedient and approved the acquisition of said easements
in said properties for the benefit and use of the Water Department of the City of Sa#t
Paul and for the considerations above set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, EE IT
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve and ratify said
action of said Board of Water Commissioners, said considerations to be paid out of -meter
