RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the awards of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contracts for the City of St. Paul Water Department
as follows:
To: WOLFF CONSTRUCTION COMPANY - for furnishing all tools, labor and equipment
to install approximately 76 lineal feet of 361j reinforced concrete casing pipe (to
be'furnished by Contractor) and 84'linea].-feet of 12" cast iron pipe, Mechanical
joint, Class 150 (to be furnished'by Water Dept.) under and across right of way of
the Northern Pacific Railway on Larpenteur ,&venue near English Street,$ St. Paul,
Minnesota - '(,Item I - Base Bid) for the contract price of $3774.00.
To: BART CARLONE -for furnishing all labor 0 tools and equipment to install
approximately 62 lineal feet of 36" reinforced concrete casing pipe (to be
furnished by Contractor) and 70 lineal feet of 16" cagi iron pipe, mechanical
joint, Class 150 (to be furnished by Water Dept.).under and across the right of
way of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St.Paul and Pacific Railroad at Eustis Street
extended near St,Anthony Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota- (Item II - Base Bid)
for the contract price of $5935.00
all in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #7530 of said bidders, such bids being the lowest and said bidders
being reasonable and rdliable bidders and the- garporation Counsel be and hereby
I is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City
officiaials hereby a're authorized to execute said contracts on behalf of the City
of Saint Paul.
