Whereas, Under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 11012, ap-
proved June 4, 1957, the Car Allowance Committee provided for
in said Section 2, has reported to the Council its findings
and recommendations in a letter dated February 18, 1959, and
Whereas, The Council has made a study of said report and
recommendation of the Car Allowance Committee, now therefore
be it
Resolved, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that
James W. Donovan, Department of Public Works, shall be entitled
to and receive the basic mileage allowance provided for in-
Ordinance No. 11012, Section 1, subject to the maximum of-
$75.00 pursuant to the provisions of said Section 1 relative
to the maximum provided for car allowance for employees, and
allowance to become effective March 1, 1959.

182872, the Car Mileage Allowance Committee has passed on
the request received from Commissioner Adrian P. Winkel
for the placing of James W. Donovan, Senior Civil Engi-
neer, on the basic car allowance plus mileage, as author-
ized in the ordinance and resolution.
It is recommended
